Let us provide an experience which will change the way your students view marine and coastal habitats in a sunny and beautiful Caribbean island.
Your group of students in years 9-12 (high school) will follow the structured curriculum for the WEJS programs at MCERC. Contact the director at Mithriel@Marine-Eco.org to discuss the date and duration of a program which provides an educational opportunity in one of our locations in the Caribbean. These programs are idea for class trips of up to 10 students and 2 teachers.
Opportunities include Puerto Rico and the Turks and Caicos Islands where your group will investigate several locations of marine and coastal habitats. The local culture is incorporated into the curriculum to enrich the experience and bridge gaps that can only be achieved through first hand experience.
Dates, program fees, and duration of the program is customized to the needs of your students.
Marine and terrestrial ecology programs are now available for enrollment in 2021 and 2022.
The WEJS curriculum is customized to the needs and goals of your group and is designed to give teachers and their students a learning opportunity which includes local culture, ecology, scientific method, and an introduction to wildlife photography.
Please contact Mithriel@Marine-Eco.org to discuss coordinating a session of WEJS in South Africa for your group of 10 year 12 students (seniors) along with 2 teachers to join the MCERC faculty.
