Your research is important. What’s more important is the ability to convey your research in a meaningful way to intended readers. This six-week course will provide you with detailed experience writing for scientific publication. MCERC will assign you a project based on interest or you can propose a project to faculty which grabs your interest. Working in pairs or small groups, you will work with data to work through the process of creating a full journal article for faculty review through guided assignments.

Who should join?

  • Self-motivated, hard-working individuals wishing to gain experience in research methods and writing
  • Those contemplating applications to attend graduate school or veterinary school
  • Undergraduates and graduate students are welcome
